Factor the 16,165 X-rays multiplied by our vintage "film" rental rate of $30 per click and it leads to a whopping $484,950! Now from the casual observer's point of view it seems like a ridiculous figure, but overlay that number with the fact this office was likely billing out on average $100 per film, the equation grows to a windfall of $1,616,500!

Not bad for just a piece of X-ray machine sitting in the back corner! Diagnostics and comprehensive clinical assessment pervade the reasons for this technology. And yet one can't ignore the obvious revenue it yields to enhance the financial stability of any dental office!
